
Bukit Tengkorak Archeological Site
Bukit Tengkorak is a volcanic rock-shelter site and part of volcano mouth 2km in diameter. The Museum Exhibits are in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Department of National Heritage. Bukit Tengkorak, currently an open site archaeological museum, was a major pottery making site in the Southeast Asia in the Neolithic era that is about 3,000 years ago.

Getting There
Approximately 45 minutes from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau by flight and about 81km from Tawau Airport which will take another 1 hour 15 minutes drive to Bukit Tengkorak Archelogical Site.
