
Keningau World War Two Memorial
The Keningau War Memorial or Cho Huan Lai Memorial was erected in remembrance of the World War Two (WW2) fighters against the Japanese forces who invaded Sabah (North Borneo) and occupied Keningau in early January, 1942. July 31st every year has become a significant event for the community of Keningau as they gathered at the site of the five who were executed by the Japanese during Second World War.
