Minduk Sirung Trail, Tambunan
Located in the centre of the Crocker Range, the Minduk Sirung Peak stands at 2,050m. The journey downhill starts from Mount Alab through beautiful montane and mossy forest suitable for those in search of a full day jungle-trekking experience. You will be in the heart of the Crocker Range where you may encounter an abundance of birds, orchids, and pitcher plants.

Getting There
It’s about 74.6km from Kota Kinabalu or about 1 hour 40 minutes’ drive. You can opt to take an Express Bus (bas ekspres) from the Terminal Bus Station at Jalan Padang, Bandaran Berjaya. The departure time will be from 6.30am until 6.00pm with an estimated cost of RM12.30. Upon reaching Tambunan town or the taxi stand, find a taxi and get to Minduk Sirung which is about 21km or 25 minutes’ drive away from Tambunan town.
