Melangkap Nariou Village, Kadamaian

This village is well known for its intricate handmade rattan handicraft. Each family has their own weaving style and visitors can choose from the many different types of weave patterns crafted by the villagers.
Visitors can also enjoy the cascading waterfall of Kuminangkad. As you trek through the ancient hill nearby, you will pass by many fruits and vegetable farms. If you are lucky you can bargain for ripe pineapple for a refreshing kick on your trek.

Getting There

It’s about 68.1km away from Kota Kinabalu and about 1 hour 35 minutes’ drive. You can opt to take an Express Bus (bas ekspres) from the Terminal Bus Station at Jalan Padang, Bandaran Berjaya. The departure time will be from 8.30am until 2.00pm with an estimated cost of RM10.00. Upon reaching Kota Belud town or the taxi stand, find a taxi and get to Melangkap Nariou Village which is about 32.5km or 45 minutes’ drive away from Kota Belud town.
