Pogunon Community Museum Penampang

The importance of the site was first revealed in January 2000 during the construction of a Pogunon Village Kindergarten Building. Human bones were also found in the three jars. The ceramics originated from China, made between 16th to 19th century. The museum is sited on an ancient graveyard of megaliths which served as grave markers.
